On Saturday, November 15th between 9 am – 3 pm, a Low Brass Clinic will be presented on the campus of Liberty University for High School and Middle School students. The clinic will include master classes on fundamental performance techniques specific to trombone, euphonium, and tuba players. The clinicians for the day will be Mr. John Cradler (principal tubist with The President’s Own) and Dr. Kevin Chiarizzio (Low Brass professor at Liberty University).
There is no registration fee requested of participants! This clinic is presented as a service to both your students and your ensembles. In addition, the Liberty University School of Music will provide free lunch to all participants. The only “cost” associated with participation is travel and time. All classes are “hands-on” in nature so individuals need to bring their instruments.
Pre-registration is requested to assist in planning, but on-site registration will be available @ 8:30 am on the day of the clinic. Contact Kevin Chiarizzio for more information or if you have questions about the clinic. Kevin’s office phone is 434-582-2512 and his email is firstname.lastname@example.org. Directors are welcome to participate with students, but their attendance is not required.
